Education is an investment in our future.
I have been asked a number of times, “why after 16 years are you running for the School Board again?” Thankfully, the answer is simple, because it hasn’t changed since I ran the first time. I care deeply about and believe in public education!
Education is the cornerstone of our democracy. PUBLIC schools accept ALL children, no matter their circumstances, access to transportation, nutritional needs, language barriers, academic skills, or their family finances. Public education and educators work incredibly hard to provide them with an opportunity to receive a sound and good education. Society benefits when our students are successful and become meaningfully employed and community contributors.
I want to continue to support our great teachers and students and work toward the goal of higher educational achievement.
